Bluebell Creek generally is a trickle of clear mountain water making its way through Chautauqua Park into the Boulder Valley watershed. In September 2013 it transformed into a raging river threatening to swallow everything in its path. This garden felt its full force and prompted a rebuild that strives to protect the home from future flooding and restore a magical wooded enclave.
